“Fred” is 4 year old sorrel AQHA gelding measuring 14.3hh. Fully enrolled in the Ranching Heritage program and eligible for Royal Crown, VGBRA, NeRHA, Colorado Classic, and the NILE Futurity. Sired by NZ SCOTCH TIME, LTE $19,000 in multiple events including NRCHA, heading, heeling and barrel racing. Out of SHEZA A SNAPPIN CAT, daughter of CAT ITCHI (LTE $306,191 NCHA and PE $6.6 million) Fred is a flashy and balanced mover with a big trot and natural self-carriage that is sure to get you noticed in the ranch riding, ranch trail and working rail classes. He has been shown in local Versatility Ranch Horse shows for the past 2 years and has also been lightly started roping out of the box. He has a great cow sense and is a natural at rating. Fred has also been used in every aspect of ranch work, including gathering pastures, branding, and sorting. Fred is typically more whoa than go, but due to his age we would recommend him for an experienced rider that is looking for a prospect in the ranch events or VRH. He is a personable horse that enjoys attention, is easy to haul, great for the farrier, and gets along with other horses. He has a typical playful gelding personality and is usually middle of the pack. Fred did require surgery his 3-year-old year to remove an OCD lesion in his right hock and has since made a full recovery and is now 100% sound. We are happy to provide all X-rays and vet records. Bidding opens on all horses at 12 Noon June 10
Bidding will continue up to 6 p.m. Thurs June 18 at which time Hip 1 will close.
At 6:03 p.m. Hip 2 will close. At 6:06 p.m. Hip 3 will close. Every 3 minutes the following horse will be closed to bidding. If during the last seconds a bid is placed that lot will be extended 3 minutes.
